1980s Darryl Strawberry New York Mets Signed Game Worn Helmet and Cleats
The 1983 National League rookie of the Year - Darryl Strawberry - wore this signed, game-worn helmet and pair of signed, game-worn cleats during his tenure with the Mets during the 1980s. The helmet shows excellent use with period signature on the top, while the back and front have "Strawberry" nameplate. The size is 6 7/8 and the ear padding is loose, while the Nike cleats feature a handwritten number "18" on the back. One of them is signed. Strawberry‚s 215 home runs during the 1980s ranked fifth among National Leaguers, and he didn‚t even play the first three years of the decade.
