1980s Michael Jordan Signed Photograph (PSA)
Presented is a signed 1980s photograph of a flying Michael Jordan justifying his "Air Jordan" nickname as he soars towards a dunk against the Los Angeles Lakers. The side of the photo partially shows the court marked as "(Springfield?) Mass/Civic Center (now the MassMutual Civic Center), so the game could have been an exhibition game in Springfield, Mass., the city that houses the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The approx. 8x10" black and white photo shows Jordan, still with hair, with a fierce look on his face, holding the ball in his right hand, poised for a slam. Although Jordan's mouth is wide open, as usual when he is about to dunk, he does not exhibit his trademark here - his tongue hanging out. In the future would be Jordan's Chicago Bulls and the team's two "Three-Peat" Championships, and Jordan's acclaimed status as the Pro Basketball GOAT. Jordan has signed and inscribed this photo in black ink from a marker. Above his signature, he has written an inscription that appears to read "To Nets - Nots," the meaning of which is unclear. The margin of the photo shows the NBA logo and "CBS FOX Video Sports." The signed photograph has been encapsulated and PSA/DNA certified Authentic Auto.
