1980’s Monte Irvin Game Worn Old Timers Uniform
One of, if not the last, uniform ever to be donned by the former Negro League slugger and HOF’er. “Giants” crosses the chest in black on orange tackle twill and a black embroidered nameplate that reads, “Monte” sits over the heart. Below he has signed “Monte Irvin HOF 73” in black sharpie (8/10). On the reverse, “Irvin” arches over his number “20”. Tagging on tail is from “Rawlings” as is the flag tag in collar. Matching pants are tagged in the waist, “Wilson” with [size] “38” flag tag and black chain stitched “86 26” stripe tag. There is obvious game use on both top and bottoms in the form of various field markings and wear to numbers. LOA. A great opportunity to own a HOF uniform without breaking the bank.
