1980s Muhammad Ali Original Art
Another masterpiece from artist Mike Petronella, this 14.25x20" gouache on artist's board shows Muhammad Ali preening in front of a mirror. A few conspicuous bread crumbs are left by Petronella to clue us into the scope of Ali's aggrandizing behavior, including a crown that reads "The Greatest," a book he's holding entitled "The Brilliance of Me! by Ali," and the mirror, which reads "Property of The Greatest (and prettiest) of All Time!" Ali's robe also contains one of his most well known phrases, "Float like a butterfly... sting like a bee!" Petronella is a renowned illustrator quite popular with collectors.
