1981 Boston Celtics World Champions Presentation Watch
The 1980-81 Boston Celtics were a force to be reckoned with and won 62 regular season games on their way to the 1981 World Championship. Produced by Omega, this handsome electric watch was originally presented to Celtics executive Tod Rosenwig thanking him for all of his efforts that fine year. These watches are seldom seen and were only ever offered to the Celtics players and executives, the public would have to wait. The watch‚s face features a shamrock and reads, "NBA Wold Champions - 1981- XIV Celtics" while the back has been expertly engraved "Tod Rosenweig May 14, 1981." Watch is in EX-MT condition overall, is fully functional and features a vintage Speidel watch band.The following lots came directly from former Boston Celtics executive, Tod Rosensweig.Each lot will come with a letter of authenticity from Lelands attesting to the fact that the item (s) came directly from the Rosensweig collection.
