1981 Dave Winfield National League All-Star Ring

1981 Dave Winfield National League All-Star Ring

In 1981, new Yankees left-fielder Dave Winfield became baseball's highest-paid player, and he proved his worth by becoming an All-Star for a fifth straight season - and first in the AL. Here's the jewelry he won for his prowess on the playing field: a silver, size 10 1/2 ring from Balfour Celestrium that showcases a blue stone in the center with the word BASEBALL above it and ALL STAR below it. Indented in the middle are the words AMERICAN and NATIONAL. There are three diamonds on both sides of the face. On the left shank are the AL, NL and MLB logos, as well as a star icon. On the opposite side is the 1981 All-Star Game logo with Winfield's name above it and CLEVELAND below.
