1981 Maury Wills Game Worn Seattle Mariners Jersey
Known as a speedster throughout his career, the former MVP remained just as quick during his managerial stint with the Mariners. After promising to teach his boys how to steal the pennant he was fired after only twenty-four games during which Seattle went 6-18. Now that's fast! Offered is a white "home" pull-over from that fateful year, undoubtedly the rarest of all his game worn jerseys. On the chest is "Mariners 30" and on back is "Wills 30", all in triple-layer tackle twill. Manufactured by Rawlings but absent of any tagging due to tail being trimmed. It displays light use as expected.
