1981 Pedro Guerrero Los Angeles Dodgers Signed Game Used Glove
Wilson "Pro CF-C" right-handed fielder's glove used by Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Pedro Guerrero during the 1981 season and 1981 World Series. This glove was originally obtained directly from Guerrero, who has signed it in black ink (grading 8/10) on the reverse and also added the printed notation "1981 World Series/L.A. Dodgers Champions 1981." The glove bears Guerrero's uniform number, "28," written in faded black marker on the exterior thumb. Nice wear is displayed throughout, indicative of a full-season's use. Accompanying the glove is an Official 1981 World Series ball signed by Guerrero in red marker (10/10) across the sweet spot. Guerrero has also added his uniform number ("28") in red marker on the panel directly below. The ball displays light soiling (possibly game used) and is otherwise in Near Mint condition. Guerrero appeared in 98 games with the Dodgers in 1981, finishing the year with 12 home runs, 48 RBI, and a .300 batting average. He was even better in the World Series against the New York Yankees, batting .333 with 2 home runs and 7 RBI in the Dodgers six-game victory. Those numbers earned Guerrero co-World Series MVP honors, which he shared with teammates Ron Cey and Steve Yeager.
