1982-83 Johnny Bench Game Used Glove
After accomplishing all there was to accomplish behind the plate, Johnny spent his final two seasons playing third base for Cincy. With him on the corner was this Rawlings "Pro 1000-HC" third baseman's glove, and judging by its appearance it was with him quite often. The oil-toned palm has been pounded by short-hoppers and broken in nicely. Bench's number "5" is written in red marker on the outer thumb while "Bench is printed in black ink on the pinky. Most interesting is the faded black marker inscription on the middle finger that reads, "Catch Ya Later, Johnny Bench".
