The 1982 All-Star Game was historic in that it was the first time the Midsummer Classic took place outside the United States. Played at Olympic Stadium in Montreal, the National League defeated its American League counterparts, 4-1. From that July 13th game comes this NRMT sample that has "LYNN" on the left shank (for California Angels outfielder Fred Lynn) above the MLB logo and three stars. The right shank reads: "1982 PARTIE D'ETOILES ALL-STAR GAME MONTREAL." The size 10.5 ring also has: "PARTIE D'ETOILES" written on the face with a diamond baseball inside a maple leaf in the center set against a red backdrop. It is stamped Balfour Celestrium inside.
