1982 Gaylord Perry Seattle Mariners Suitcase and Game Worn Jersey
Warning: this lot includes some baggage. But the good kind! Straight from the closet of Hal of Fame pitcher Gaylord Perry comes his personal Samsonite suitcase with large Mariners sticker on the front and ID tag filled out in Perry's hand. The roughly 29"-wide piece of luggage shows nice use from road trips taken during the 1982 season and even contains a home Mariners jersey was worn by the two-time Cy Young Award winner at the Kingdome. The top features: "Mariners 36" on the front and "PERRY 36" on the back. There is Rawlings Size 46 and Set 1 1982 tagging on the front tail and it is signed "Gaylord Perry Game Used" on the front. Shows light use. Perry went 10-12 with a 4.40 ERA for Seattle in 1982 when he was 43 years old.
