1982 Jerry Springer "Even If It Hurts" For Governor Poster

1982 Jerry Springer "Even If It Hurts" For Governor Poster

In 1982, Springer sought the Democratic nomination for governor of Ohio. One of the most memorable parts of the campaign was a TV commercial. In one off the commercials, the campaign referenced his use of a check to pay a prostitute, saying that he was not afraid of the truth "even if it hurts." Unfortunately he failed to win the Democratic party's nomination, finishing a distant third behind former Lieutenant Governor Richard F. Celeste and William J. Brown. Printed on heavy cardboard with some staining on edges. 22 x 28"
