1982 Michael Ray Richardson New Jersey Nets Game Worn Uniform
He came to the Nets midway through the 1982-83 season in a trade with the Golden State Warriors and spent the last three-and-a-half years of his career there. From that first season comes this white home jersey and shorts with "Nets 20" on the front and "Richardson 20" on the back. There is Rawlings size 42 with 2-inch extra length tagging on the front tail, as well as an "82" year tag. The shorts feature "NJ" on both thighs and there is a Rawlings size 34 tag in the waist band with "82" year tag. There is marker writing on the Rawlings tag, though it is unreadable. The uniform shows nice game use. "Sugar" averaged 12.7 points and 6.0 assists in his 31 games with the Nets that season.
