1983-84 Bernard King New York Knicks Game Worn Jersey (King Letter)

1983-84 Bernard King New York Knicks Game Worn Jersey (King Letter)

It does not get any better than this: a game worn jersey that came directly from the player. And a Big Apple superstar HOFer at that. This game worn home white beauty is from one of the last great superstars of the New York Knicks, Bernard King. Not only did this come right from "The King" and comes with his Letter of Authenticity, but it was THE ONLY ONE he saved from his career and it states just that in his LOA. One of the great Knicks of all time, Bernard was a monster scorer and once had two consecutive 50-point games, a dead serious accomplishment. King epitomized the explosive, high-scoring NBA small forward of the 1980s and with his long arms and quick release he was a tremendous scorer with speed to match. Simply an unbeatable combination, King led the NBA in scoring and was a four time NBA All-Star. All-original, this shows simply beautiful use. It is signed on the verso, "My 1983/84 Game Worn Jersey, Bernard King". Gerry Cosby tag in the collar with "3 LB" for extra length on the front tail along with New York Knicks exclusive tag and Medalist Sand-Knit size 44 tag. Additionally, comes with letter from King stating that this jersey was game worn by him and that it "...is the only one I owned." The perfect specimen of a Bernard King jersey from the team that we want him from.
