1983-86 Gary Carter Game Used Bat Signed to Chuck Connors (PSA)
Circa 1983-86 bat was game used by New York Mets catcher Gary Carter, and is signed and inscribed to actor Chuck Norris. Uncracked specimen weighs 32.0 ounces and measures 34.75", with Carter's number 8 on the knob in bold black marker, and model P89 stamped on the barrel above his signature. Light use evident, not only has "The Kid" signed in beautiful 8/10 blue Sharpie, but he has added a lengthy inscription to Norris reading, "To Chuck, Thank you again for your thoughtfulness! Continued good health success & happiness always. Take care & God Bless, your friend," followed by his signature. Dating time frame covers the 1986 period which, of course, included New York's amazing season culminating on a World Series victory for the ages, of which Carter was a key component.
