1983 Bill Buckner Game Worn Chicago Cubs Home Jersey
Before heading towards the Red Sox, Buckner enjoyed an excellent career with the Dodgers and Cubs. Those who only saw him in his last few years might be surprised to learn that he was an accomplished base stealer for a good deal of his career, stealing in double digits in 7 seasons and once even swiping 31.This is a 1983 Bill Buckner autographed jersey from his stint with the Chicago Cubs. Excellent wear with chewing tobacco stains included. “Wilson 42” tag above another sewn in tag “22 83 1 42” in collar. Cubs patch on chest and left sleeve. Left front bottom has signature in blue Sharpie next to an “83” patch. His number “22” on reverse.
