1983 Jim Collins Los Angeles Rams Game Worn Jersey (Photo-Matched to 1984 Topps Card)
<p>Jim Collins was a second round pick of the Los Angeles Rams in the 1981 draft. The linebacker played for the Rams from 1981-85, sat out the 1986 season because of an injury, and then played for the Rams again in 1987-88. He played his final NFL season in 1989 with the San Diego Chargers. Offered is the 1983 Los Angeles Rams jersey he wore during the 1983 season. Collins was a Pro Bowl selection in 1985. In his NFL career, he had six interceptions, 44.5 sacks and six recovered fumbles. In 1983, the year he wore this jersey, Collins played in all 16 regular season games, starting 13. He had two inceptions, returning them for a total of 46 yards. he also had a fumble recovery and a sack. "Exclusive Los Angeles Rams and NFL Sand Knit" tagging and a size "50" Medalist Sand Knit tag are on the front outside tail. The front of the jersey shows "50" in blue numerals and each sleeve has a "50" in blue numerals on a gold background. The back of the jersey has a white name tag with blue lettering showing "J. Collins". Under the nametag is "50" in blue numerals. The jersey is matched to the 1984 Collins' Topps card. The <span style="font-size: 13px;">white mesh jersey shows great use, with five team repairs, paint transfers and abrasions.</span> Overall, the jersey is in excellent condition.</p>
