Gorgeous signature model Louisville Slugger was issued to Hall of Famer Rod Carew for use during his sixteenth All Star appearance. Its dark and well defined, "1983-All Star Game-Rod Carew-American League" stamping displays perfectly as does the "50th Anniversary" stamping on the barrel's sweet spot. Signed and inscribed, "My Best Wishes To You." in black sharpie and written with Carew's number, "29" on the knob. NR-MT. A exquisite anniversary example from one of the brightest shining stars of the seventies.
