1984 Doug Flutie Boston College MVP Award
Was it really 20 years ago that Doug Flutie made that throw? This Chevrolet MVP of the Week Award was just one of the accolades Flutie received for his 48-yard Hail Mary pass to Gerard Phelan that carried BC to an improbable win over Miami on November 23, 1984. The 11 1/2 x 13 1/2" award has upraised wooden borders boxing a plush blue backdrop mounted with 2 circular gold "Chervrolet Scholarship Program" discs and a gold plaque engraved to Flutie. EX-MT with a few scratches on the wood. Mounting wire on reverse side for hanging.
