1984 Pete Rose Cincinnati Reds Game Worn Uniform
This matching jersey and pants is from a significant period of Pete Rose's illustrious and controversial career. On August 15, 1984, he was traded from the Montreal Expos back to the Cincinnati Reds, where he was immediately named player-manager. Rose batted .365 over those last 26 games for the Reds, but that was also the beginning of the period in which he stands accused of betting on games involving his team, which has prevented his sure selection to the Hall of Fame. The road jersey is all original and shows nice use with "ROSE 14" on back and "CINCINNATI 14" on the front, to go with "84" year tag and Wilson size 44 tag on the front tail. Pants also show nice use and are tagged in the waist band with Wilson size 34 and "14 84 2" strip tag.
