1985 Cotton Bowl MVP Trophy Awarded to Bill Romanowski
From the Bill Romanowski storage locker find comes this one-of-a-kind 1985 Cotton Bowl MVP award presented to the future four-time Super Bowl Champion Bill Romanowski.Handsome bronze statue is mounted on top of a wooden base, is labeled "Roger Lawrence c 1982" and stands in at an impressive 18" tall and weighs 10 lbs.The unique plaque underneath reads "Cotton Bowl Classic, January 1, 1985, Most Valuable Player-Defense, Proudly presents to, Bill Romanowski, Boston College."Wood base features its original manufacturers sticker on bottom "Southwest Trophy" in Dallas, TX. It should known that this statue is very fragile. The bottoms of the statues "feet" are cracked and extremely loose; this piece needs to be restored.
