1985 Ken Griffey Sr. Game Worn Jersey
The man responsible for the Griffey legend. From 1981 to 1986 Griffey Senior played a platoon role for the New York Yankees prior to becoming the first father son tandem to play on the same team (Mariners 1990). This stylish gray road jersey was used in 1985. "New York" across the chest in blue on white tackle twill lettering. "Ken Griffey My Gammer" signed in blue ballpoint on right chest. "Griffey 85 2" embroidered in collar. Verso "33" in same style. This is one of the only Ken Griffey Senior game used pieces while he played for the Yankees. Light but definite use.
