During this period, Wilson was trying to gain traction in the NBA and the Celtics, despite being committed to Sand-Knit for the regular season, were willing to give the heavier Wilson jerseys a try during exhibition season. White mesh top has Wilson size 46 and 3-inch X-length on left front tail, with number 32 in bold black marker written on the main tag. Celtics is across the front in all green letters above number 32, which is also on back below the name, in individually stitched lettering. Though he spent most of his 13 NBA seasons - all played in Boston - in the shadow of Larry Bird, McHale was a presence in his own right at the power forward position, earning seven All-Star Game selections while being an integral part of three NBA Championships, earning his slot in the Basketball Hall of Fame.
