1985 M.L.Carr Boston Celtics game worn preseason jersey is a rarity with an interesting story. During this period, Wilson was trying to get teams in the NBA to wear their brand, and while the Celtics were staying with Sand-Knit, they had no problem trying the Wilson jerseys in the preseason. White top has Wilson size 46 tag on left front tail with number 30 written in black marker. Number 30 is on front and back, Celtics is in individual arched letters stitched above the front number, name is above the rear number; all in green. Light use displayed consistent with preseason. Carr played six of his nine NBA seasons in Boston, with the 1984-85 campaign representing his last in the league before embarking on a career that saw him serve as both the Head Coach and General Manager of the Celts.
