1985 Pedro Guerrero Game Worn Los Angeles Dodgers Jersey
Baseball statistician Bill James once wrote that Pedro Guerrero was, "the best hitter that God has made in a long time." A lifetime .300 hitter, Pedro was a five-time All-Star, World Series champion, and the MVP of the 1981 Fall Classic.Considered by many to be the best hitter of his era, Guerrero enjoyed perhaps his finest season in 1985 tallying 33 home runs, 87 RBI, a .320 average, an All-Star berth, and a third place finish in NL MVP award voting. His torrid bating included 15 home runs in June and reaching base in 14 consecutive at bats in July, both NL records.Pedro's home white button-down knit displays all sewn-on tackle twill identifiers with "Dodgers" scripted across the chest in blue with "28" offset below in red and "Guerrero 28" on the verso in blue/white. "Goodman 44" tag in collar. Nice overall game wear from an historic season.
