1986-87 Jim Kelly Signed USFL Contract
Before this 1991 Pro-Bowl MVP kept his beloved Buffalo Bills busy in the NFL post-season limelight (a record four consecutive AFC championships, though Super Bowl ring-less), he was a Gambler for Houston, and this official contract is for the champion quarterback’s 1986-87 season in Texas. This standard USFL player's contract was actually signed in June of 1983, and calls for $500,000 to be paid to Kelly for the year with the Houston. Kelly's signature is in 8/10 black ink. Comes with 2-page contract addendum also dated in June of 1983.
