1986-87 Mike Durrette San Francisco 49ers Game Worn Jersey - NFL Strike Era
Mike Durrette is a former offensive lineman who played in both the USFL and NFL during the 1980s. Standing 6'4" and weighing 280 pounds, the West Virginia alum presented a formidable force on the O-line. Offered here is a 1986-87 Mike Durrette San Francisco 49ers road (white) game-worn jersey when he played during the strike-shortened season of 1987. The well-worn mesh/nylon jersey features the official RUSSELL ATHLETIC manufacturer’s tag sewn on the left front tail that includes the size 52 designation with complete washing instructions. Sporting 20 air holes underneath both armpits, the No. 64 jersey also sports the old-school crotch flap and has all three white buttons still intact. Excessive wear is exhibited via five team repairs and numerous instances of cracked silk-screened numbers on the front and back as well as around both elastic-wrapped sleeves. His silk-screened nameplate (“DURRETTE”) appears across the shoulders boasting red letters.
