1986-87 Rick Heinz Salt Lake Golden Eagles International Hockey League Championship player ring comes directly from the netminder's personal collection. Size 13 ring has an image of the Turner Cup (IHL championship trophy) embedded in a green set stone, with bezel reading Salt Lake Golden Eagles. Left shank has player name engraved over a relief of an eagle, right shank is centered by a relief of the cup with "Turner Cup Champions" spelled out above and below, IHL to the left of the cup, and 86-87 on the opposite side. Stamped inside by manufacturer, Gold Lance Fashion Jewelry. The International League served as the top minor league to the NHL, and the Golden Eagles were affiliated with the Hartford Whalers and Calgary Flames. Heinz played in the NHL from 1980-85, predominantly for the St. Louis Blues.
