1986-89 Dwight Evans Boston Red Sox Game Used Bat MEARS A8.5
Dwight Evans Louisville Slugger pro-model ("C271") bat dating from the 1986-1989 manufacturing period. Graded A8.5 by MEARS. The bat, which measures 34.5" and weighs 30 ounces, displays heavy use, including ball marks, stitch marks, rack marks, and an approximate 12" multiple crack in the handle. Evans' uniform number ("24") is written in silver paint pen on the knob. Evans was highly productive between the years 1986 and 1989. Evans hit 20 or more home runs in each of those years, while totaling 100 or more RBI in three of the four seasons. An eight-time Gold Glove Award winner, Evans finished his twenty-year career with 385 home runs, 1,384 RBI, and a .272 lifetime average. Full LOA from MEARS.
