1986 Johnny Cash "I've Been Everywhere" World Tour Stage Worn Boots (Documented Cash LOA)

1986 Johnny Cash "I've Been Everywhere" World Tour Stage Worn Boots (Documented Cash LOA)

Terrific Johnny Cash lot. Johnny Cash's STAGE WORN boots from his World Tour. Each of the boots is signed in the side by Johnny Cash. Lot includes a signed letter from Johnny Cash dated March 25, 1986, from Hendersonville, Tennessee, on Johnny Cash letterhead, which has him authenticating the boots. The letter reads, "These boots were custom made for me by ACME [Boot Company]. Size 13 D. I wore these in Australia, England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Canada and the US. Walk softly in them. They've been everywhere, Johnny Cash (autographed inside)".Also comes with a newspaper, the Grand Forks Herald, of October 4, 2003, with a front page photo of a fan (who previously owned them) wearing them. Black leather boots have two-inch heels and are 21.5" high. The boots are, according to a fan who previously owned them, not laced with rhinestones and gems. "They're nothing fancy," said Dave Gerszewski, the fan who owned them. "They're just boots that fit him." And boots that perfectly fit the persona of the singer that wore them. Condition is EXCELLENT.
