1986 Steve Grogan New England Patriots Game Worn Jersey (LOA)
Steve Grogan played 16 years at quarterback i the NFL, and all of those seasons, from 1975-1990, were with the New England Patriots. Grogan had one of his best seasons i 1979, when he led the NFL in touchdown passes (28), touchdown percentage (6.6%), and Yards Per Catch (16.) In 1985, Grogan had a 5-1 record as he backed up Tony Eason at quarterback as the Patriots went to the Super Bowl, losing 46-10 to the Chicago Bears. In 1986, the year the offered jersey was game used, Grogan was the back-up quarterback as the Patriots to an 11-5 regular season record and New England finished in first place in the AFC East Division. Grogan appeared in four games, starting two. He had a 1-1 record, completed 60.8 % of his passes for 9 touchdowns, and two interceptions. He had a 113.8 quarterback rating.
