1987-88 Harlem Globetrotters Game Used Warm-Up Top
This lot consists of a 1987-88 Harlem Globetrotters blue snap-front short-sleeve warm-up top with red and gold ribbing around the sleeves and bottom. There are two Sandknit labels sewn inside the snap placket; one is a size 44 tag and the other is printed "Buddy's All Stars Inc." and has the number 47 written on it in black marker. There is also a 3MLB label sewn on the other side of the placket. The top has a long "stars and stripes" collar that snaps down on the back of the garment. This interesting piece comes with a letter on Harlem Globetrotters letterhead from their General Manager Joseph Anzivino attesting to its authenticity and rarity, as the Globetrotters do not sell warm-up suits and this piece clearly entered the market through a player or team employee.
