1987-89 Mort Andersen New Orleans Saints Game Worn Jersey (MEARS)
<p>Presented is a game worn jersey from Morten Andersen, one of only two exclusive place kickers in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. A native of Denmark, Andersen was an accomplished soccer player as a youth in Denmark, Later, he spent a year as a high school exchange student and began playing American football as a kicker, He accepted a scholarship to Michigan State, and later played 25-seasons in the NFL, most notably for the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons. Mort was a 5-time First Team All-Pro and a 7-time Pro Bowler. He won two Golden Toe Awards and he is on both the 1980s and 1990s All-Decade teams. A white #7 is screened on the front, back, and shoulders of the road jersey. The jersey has a <span style="font-size: 10pt;">restored nameplate across the back. There is a "Sand Kit size 44" and an "Exclusive Saints" tag on the left front outside tail. The jersey has a few minor spots, and it shows light use. Possessing this signed game jersey is a fine opportunity. After all, the "Great Dane" <span style="font-size: 13px;">holds the NFL record for most games played at 382, and he is second all-time in the NFL in field goals (565) and points (2,544).
