1987-91 Roger Clemens Signed, Game Worn Cap & Complete Game Shutout Win Balls - Gifted to Teammate (PSA)
From Roger Clemens' early days as a dominating fireballer, this cap and set of baseballs would make for a fine display. The black Red Sox hat is circa 1987, signed by Roger and game-worn with "21" and personalization: "To The Ha'Now Kid!!". One baseball hails from 1987 and is earmarked: Career Win #51 complete game shutout "7-31-87" game ball. The other is from 1991 and commemorates Career Win #129, a complete game shutout 3-hitter game ball. "The Ha'Now Kid" is a nickname Clemens gave to catcher John Marzano while the two were teammates and friends. All items were given to Marzano and show great use. Both game balls are signed and inscribed. Clemens went 20-9 in 1987, leading the American League in wins. He was 18-10 in 1991, when he led the A.L. with a 2.62 ERA. Comes certified by PSA.
