1987 Paul Molitor Autographed Game Worn Jersey
Home pinstripe jersey was worn by Milwaukee Brewers legend Paul Molitor during his banner 1987 season. Molly hit .353 that season, finishing second in the batting race and led the AL in runs (114) and doubles (41). He was the talk of baseball during and following that season with his 39-game hit streak, which rivaled the all time best of the best, second to only Joe DiMaggio. Displays a blue sharpie signature on the front and world-class use from the season of seasons. Pullover style is a fabulous long-departed style of the Brewers. Arched “Brewers” on the front with his “4” displayed underneath in blue on yellow tackle twill. Verso is simply his number “4”. Tagging on inside front tail is “Rawling [size] 42” with “87 Molitor” embroidered on plate below, “set 1 1987” flag tag and an embroidered “T” on separate tag. This was originally purchased from the Brewers Wives auction. Our consignor has misplace the original LOA, but will provide one of his own.
