1988 Kevin Seitzer Kansas City Royals Signed Game Worn Jersey

Kevin Seitzer broke into the Major Leagues in 1986, and he did it in style. He played in 28 games, and he had a .323 batting average in 96 official at-bats. He scored 16 runs, drove in 11, and had a fine OPS of .888. Presented is a Seitzer signed game worn jersey from 1986, his debut season, although he was officially still a rookie in 1987. In his 12-year Big League career, Seitzer played for four teams, mostly the Kansas City Royals (six seasons) and the Milwaukee Brewers (five seasons). The versatile 2-time All-Star played every position except catcher, but he was primarily a third baseman who played some at first base. An excellent contact hitter, his career Major League batting average is .295. The home jersey is all original. The back shows "SEITZER" in blue block letters and the numeral "33" in blue. The front exhibits "Royals" in blue script. Seitzer signed on the front. It is tagged "Set I 1988" and has a Rawlings size 42 tag inside the front tail. There is a partial JSA sticker on the tag for the autograph. A Royals patch is on left sleeve, and "Rawlings" is on the right sleeve. The jersey is in good condition.
