1988 World Series Champion Fernando Valenzuela Game Worn Dodgers Jersey
From the 1988 season, this Los Angeles Dodgers home white jersey was worn by pitcher Fernando Valenzuela. There is a 1988 World Series patch on the right sleeve, though it's believed this was worn during the regular season and used as a backup for the World Series. There's a size 45 tag in the neck with "Set 1, 1988," and it shows moderate use with loose stitching on the back nameplate. Valenzuela burst on the scene in the early '80s, and his quirky delivery and otherworldly talent made the Mexican southpaw a fan favorite.
