1989 Kevin Brown Texas Rangers Game Worn Jersey

Kevin Brown was a very effective right-handed pitcher who pitched in the major Leagues from 1986-2005. Brwon was on six Major League teams. In 1996, he led the National League in ERA (1.89) when he was with the Florida Marlins. The next year, he threw a no-hitter for the Marlins against the San Francisco Giants. While pitching for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2000, Brown again led the National League in ERA (2.58). Brown had a lifetime record of 211-144. The home white jersey is all original. It shows nice use. It exhibits some minor spotting on the front, back, and sleeves. There is a Rawlings size 44, "T" and "Set I 1989" tagging on the left front outside tail. "Rangers" is in blue script with red trim across the chest. The back shows "BROWN" in blue block letters and the number "41" in blue numerals with red trim, and the right sleeves has "Rawlings" in blue embroidery. Brown began his Major League career with the Texas Rangers, and the jersey reflects a time when jerseys were simpler, with fewer numbers, tags, and logos than those of later years.
