1989 Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls Game Worn Jersey (Original Owner & Bulls LOAs)

1989 Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls Game Worn Jersey (Original Owner & Bulls LOAs)

"Never say never, because limits, like fears, are often an illusion," said Michael Jordan, who never let limits define his basketball career, and who obliterated all supposed limits to become the consensus pro basketball Greatest Player of All Time, the GOAT. Presented is a golden opportunity to possess a beautiful game worn Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls jersey from the 1989-90 season. In that season, Jordan led the NBA in scoring at 33.6 PPG, and the Bulls went 55-27 in the regular season and advanced to Eastern Conference Play-off Finals in which the Bulls were defeated by the Detroit Pistons. In the spring of 2020, Michael Jordan was already a professional basketball legend, and then, during the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic, many viewers worldwide were almost prisoners in their homes and were starved for sports, as televised live sports shows were extremely scarce. Then ESPN Films and Netflix jointly produced The Last Dance, the documentary that focused on the Chicago Bulls and particularly Michael Jordan, and the double Three Peat championships of Jordan and the Bulls when Chicago won two sets of three championships in a row, from 1990-91 through 1992-93 and from 1995-96 through 1997-98. The miniseries won an Emmy Award, and in the United States it was watched by an average audience per episode of 6.71 million and 23.8 million worldwide viewers watched at least part of the first four episodes. As a result, Jordan's already great fame increased even more, and all things Jordan became even more valuable - all over the world. Jordan, in the James Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, was a 5-time NBA MVP and a 6-time NBA Finals MVP. Other NBA honors include: 10-time Scoring Leader; 14-time All-Star; 9-time All-Defensive Team; 3-time Steals Leader. The white mesh Jordan jersey is in excellent condition. On the front is an NBA logo near the top left. Across the chest is "BULLS" in red letters with black trim, and underneath the team's name is "23", also in red with black trim. On the lower front left, on the outside tail, are three tags: A Sand-Knit manufacturer's tag that shows the size as "46" and that reads "designed and tailored exclusively for the Chicago Bulls." Next to the manufacturer's tag is a tag showing "89," which indicates that the jersey was issued for the 1989-90 season. Under the year tag is a tag reading "3 LB," which indicates that the jersey has three inches additional length. The back of the jersey shows "JORDAN," in red letters and underneath the name is "23," in red numerals with black trim. The jersey comes with two letters of authenticity. 1) One is from S. Steven Gold of the Chicago Bulls' Publicity Department. 2) The other included Letter of Authenticity comes from the consignor. This signed, handwritten LOA states, "On or about the 10th of March 1990, I attended a Chicago Bulls basketball game as a guest of Mr. Steve Gold. I obtained this Jordan jersey directly from him after the game and made a $2,500 donation to Easter Seals on behalf of Mr. Jordan as payment to acquire the Jordan jersey." As Jordan said, "Some people want it to happen, some people wish it would happen, and some people make it happen." Adding this valuable Jordan game worn jersey to your collection will assuredly make it happen, as the jersey is sure to become a fascinating topic of conversation with all visitors and ensure that any sports assemblage becomes a sure-fire winner.
