1989 Mike Schmidt Game Worn Jersey
Perhaps the final road jersey ever worn by this Hall of Famer whose name is stamped all over the record books of Major League Baseball. If you’re thinking this might be a Scoreboard jersey, think again. They only made homes. In fact, we’ve never seen a 1989 Schmidt road before, ever. This one shows nice use from a quarter season’s worth of work (he retired mid-season that year). Number “20” and the logo “P” fill the chest, with “Schmidt 20” on verso. Full collar tagging reads “Rawlings [size] 44” with “Schmidt” sewn in red block letters above the “Set 1 1989” year tag. Team logo patch on left sleeve. Black sharpie signature on front is NRMT. A very important jersey, probably the rarest to derive from this 500 Home Run Clubster.
