1989 Pete Rose Autographed Game Worn Coach’s Jersey

1989 Pete Rose Autographed Game Worn Coach’s Jersey

The subject of many a hot debate wore this white home Cincinnati Reds pullover jersey while coaching the team with which he was canonized as “Charlie Hustle”. A great looking jersey from the all-time hits leader, worn during his final season in the Majors. “14” stitched onto the right breast in red on white tackle twill and the Reds “C” logo on left breast. Signed in black sharpie directly under the heart. Verso is “Rose” in arched lettering and his number “14” displayed below. “Rawlings” embroidered in red thread on just above the trim of the right sleeve. Inside front tail tagging is “Rawlings [size] 44” with a “set 1 1989” flag tag. Whether the folks at Cooperstown reconsider, or whether the Major League ban on Pete Rose is ever lifted remains a mystery, but we fans will never forget what he meant to the game of baseball. Jersey shows good use.
