1990's Guy Lafleur Autographed Old-timers Sweater and Award (2)
The term "hanging up the skates" is only a figure of speech. They don't stay on the wall for long. Les Anciens Canadiens or the Montreal Canadians Old-timers are a tight-knit bunch with solid ties to the team and the community. Guy was welcomed with open arms by the team, quite possibly in search of fresh legs. This black enamel plaque is inscribed, in French, "Welcome to the Lounge of the Anciens Canadiens, March 30, 1991" and displays the ceremonial brass key. Also included is Guy's Montreal Canadiens Old-timers game worn uniform signed by twenty-two retired Habs greats including Guy Lafleur, Frank Mahovlich, Dickie Moore, Serge Savard, Steve Shutt, Henri Richard and Yvan Cournoyer. In excellent condition. Letter of Authenticity signed by Guy Lafleur.
