1990 Gary Carter Game Used Signed Spikes and Gary Sheffield Game Used Signed Spikes
Two pairs of game-used and signed spikes from 1990 are up for auction. The first pair has a "Sheff Authenticated" hologram on them. They are Nike cleats, both signed on the outside toe area by Gary Sheffield in blue marker, and are a size 11. They show heavy use; there's even a piece of dirt under the left cleat. The second pair also has an authenticating hologram on each spike, and have been signed by Hall of Famer Gary Carter on the white Nike boomerang symbol on each side. Written in black Sharpie, it says, "1990, Gary Carter, #8". Each cleat has a size "8" written in black marker on the back of the heel. Solid collection from a Hall of Famer and future Hall of Famer.
