1990 Joe Montana Game Worn San Francisco 49ers Jersey
Routinely regarded among the greatest quarterbacks of all time, Montana was the foundation in which the 49'er dynasty of the 80's was built upon. He led them to an astounding four Super Bowls (1982, 1985, 1989, 1990), thrice being named the game's MVP (a feat that has never been matched) and in 2000 took his place alongside the other legends of the gridiron in Canton. Offered is a red "home" jersey from what is possibly his greatest season of all, 1990. That year, he not only won his last Super Bowl ring but final AP MVP award, in addition to being named Sports Illustrated magazine's Sportsman of the Year. On the front and shoulders is sewn his number "16" in white tackle twill, as it is on the back as well below, "Montana". The tail's tagging is from, "Wilson", with, "[size] 46" flag tag. The jersey shows great use and includes a team repair and some scuffing to the numbers. Made complete with his black Sharpie signature on the "1" of the "16" on the reverse.
