1990 World Champion Cincinnati Reds Signed Bat
The Cincinnati Reds became the World Champions in 1990, sweeping the Oakland Athletics in the World Series. Chris Sabo hit 25 homers, and Eric Davis bashed 24 dingers. Mariano Duncan hit .306 and Barry Larkin .301. Tom Browning led the team in wins with 15. Piniella (manager), O'Neill, Morris, Larkin (HOF), Browning, Sabo, Duncan, Willingham, Oliver, Doran, Davis, Hatcher, and more. The 1990 Championship was the fifth World Series triumph in the then 122-year history of the franchise. The bat is a ceremonial black Rawlings Adirondack model, 34" long. The barrel of the bat has the Reds' logo, and "1990 World Champions/Cincinnati Reds, 4 - Oakland Athletics,0." Under the logo, the limited-edition bat is imprinted with "188 of 1990." The bat exhibits some minor scratching and a few tiny nicks, and a few of the signatures are slightly smeared, but still neat and clearly legible. Overall, the bat is in good condition. The signatures are all in sliver, and overall average 8/10.
