1990s Wilt Chamberlain Painting by Don Dyen Signed by Coach Mosenson
"Tribute to Wilt Chamberlain" is the title of this oil on canvas (31.5x45"), which was presented to Wilt Chamberlain's original coach Cecil Mosenson at a special ceremony at Overbrook High School. Beautifully executed by sports illustrator Don Dyen, it depicts the young Chamberlain during his stellar career as the greatest high school basketball player ever during his career with the Overbrook Panthers and beyond. The piece is signed by Coach Mosenson, who was offered a coaching position if he could persuade the center to go to Overbrook, and the obvious result is sports history. Wilt is shown in a parade of different uniforms all, wearing his immortal #5. Beautiful condition, consigned directly to Leland's by Coach Mosenson.
