1992 Barry Bonds Pittsburgh Pirates Game Worn Jersey - MVP Season

Pittsburgh Pirates road jersey worn by Major League home run leader Barry Bonds during his 1992 MVP season. The gray knit jersey is lettered "Pittsburgh" across the front and features the number "24" on the left breast and reverse. "Bonds" is lettered upon a gray nameplate on the reverse above the number. All letters and numerals are applied in black on gold tackle twill. A Pirates team patch appears on the left sleeve. Located on the interior left front tail are a "Rawlings size 44" label and an adjacent flag tag reading "Set 1 1992." The jersey is all original and displays light use. 1992 marked Bonds' seventh and final season with the Pirates. Already established as the game's best all-around player at the time, Bonds cemented that reputation by winning his second (of an eventual seven) MVP Award that year. Bonds finished the season with 34 home runs, 103 RBI, a .311 batting average, and league-leading totals in bases on balls (127), runs (109), slugging percentage (.624), and on-base percentage (.456). That production once again helped lead the Pirates to a first-place finish in the National League Eastern Division. This is a historic jersey dating from Bonds' last season as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
