1992 Bo Jackson Chicago White Sox Game Used Bat (PSA GU 8)
One of the most gifted all-around athletes, Bo Jackson game-used bats are quite rare as he did not have a long playing career. Offered here is one of the rare exceptions: a stunning Louisville Slugger J93 model ash bat used by the only athlete ever to be named an All-Star in two major North American sports. The 1985 Heisman Trophy winner went on to play in the NFL for the Oakland Raiders and also in Major League baseball, first for the Royals, and then for the White Sox and Angels. During his tenure with the ChiSox, Jackson swung this mighty Louisville Slugger J93 model ash bat, which is uncracked and exhibits moderate use. There are a few mall marks and ball stitch impressions on the left barrel, including blue ink transfers. There's a light coat of pine tar on the handle and Bo's #8 written in black marker on the knob. The bat weighs 31 ounces and is 34.5 inches in length. Jackson played more than twice as many Major League baseball seasons (9) as NFL seasons (4) as a hip injury curtailed the latter for the power back. LOA included.
