1992 Buffalo Bills AFC Champions Ring & Presentation Box
Perhaps the greatest team never to win the Super Bowl, the early-'90s Buffalo Bills were a deep and amazingly talented club with stars such as Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, Bruce Smith and Steve Tasker. The 1992 club - which will forever be remembered for its NFL-record 32-point comeback vs. the Oilers in the playoffs - eventually fell to the Dallas Cowboys, 52-17, in the Super Bowl, That marked the club's third consecutive setback in the big game, but the organization still bestowed upon the players and staff this seldom-seen Jostens ring, offered here in its original presentation box. The 10k gold ring is Size 9 and weighs 45 grams (same as that of the players). The box is in EX-MT condition and the ring appears unworn. It reads: "BUFFALO BILLS AFC CHAMPIONS on the top surrounding a diamond-studded football. The left shank features the recipient's name: ZICCARDI, the team helmet, 14-6 record and "STAFF." The right shank has the Super Bowl XXVII logo, along with references to the previous two big games, "STAFF" and "NFL." The inside of the box reads: "BUFFALO BILLS A.F.C. CHAMPIONS 1992 and the name "KIM ZACCARDI" engraved on a plate.
