1992 Jose Lind Pittsburgh Pirates Game Worn Jersey
Pittsburgh Pirates home jersey worn by second baseman Jose Lind in 1991. The white knit jersey is lettered "Pirates" across the front and features the number "13" on the left breast and reverse. "Lind" is lettered on a white name plate on the reverse above the number. All letters and numerals are applied in black on gold tackle twill. A Pirates team patch appears on the left sleeve, but the circular memorial patch for longtime equipment manager John Hallahan that was once affixed to the right sleeve has been removed (the stitch outline remains clearly visible). Located on the interior left front tail are a "Rawlings size 40" label, a white strip tag with the letter "T" embroidered in black, and a flag tag reading "Set2 1991." Except for the removal of the memorial patch, the jersey is original as issued and displays light use. Playing in his fifth season with Pittsburgh, and fourth as a starter, Lind batted .265 with 3 home runs and 54 RBI in 1991.
